Russian companies most often introduce big data analysis technology into their systems, according to a new study by KPMG. It is reported that the domestic business does not show significant interest in the blockchain and virtual reality.
In percentage terms, the digital technology deployment indicators are as follows (the percentage shows how many companies have implemented certain technologies):
– big data analysis – 68%;
– chat bots – 51%;
– robotization – 50%.
It is noteworthy that in various fields of technology are used in different percentages. For example, tools that analyze databases, in their work involve only 15% of companies related to transport.
Business robots can increase productivity by up to 30%, experts say. Blockchain will bring profit at the level of 5%.
More than a third of Russian companies do not rule out spending 100 million or more to introduce new technologies. Telecommunications, metallurgy and banking are interested in fintech solutions. Less than ten million rubles in new technologies for business are ready to invest 27% of companies.
51% of companies tend to believe that investment in digitalization will pay off in two years. The rest are counting on a refund within five years.
Experts believe that Russian companies for launching business digitalization projects do not have enough competent, qualified specialists, as well as clear plans for introducing innovations.
